Is there a FAQ that explains what our account Score is?

Well, it's listed with your name when you comment on news. i was just curious if it meant anything.

Have you ever visited slashdot.org? The idea behind that site is that editors post stories and dozens/hundreds of people reply to each one. To help sort out the good replies from the bad ones, people have the option of rating the reply. Replies that have high scores stand out from ones that have low scores. PSOW has a similar system where news comments can be ranked. You don't really get to see it in action since our news stories generally do not generate that many news comments.
