Just wondering if anyone at psow got battlefield 1942 yet or planning to. Its pretty damn good as far as shooters go.

I was thinking maybe we could make a dedicated server for psow...

I got it yesterday out of curiosity. It's a good concept but poor execution. The gameplay is mired by lag and general slowness which seems to affect everyone, even ultra-highend PC users. The menu system in general is not very efficient and the server browser is terrible.

I personally feel there are some balance issues with the Allied and Axis weapons, but that remains to be seen.

Hmm, I would love to have it if it worked smoothly and my comp didnt suck. Is it like WW2 online(crap) or is more like Counter-Strike(like join a game). I thought it was a consistent world.

I downloaded the demo afew weeks ago, but as soon as I tried to start an actual mission the damn thing threw me back to my desktop.

Therefore, it is teh suck.

Bish, just because you could'nt handle the advanced features of WinXP doesn't make it teh suck. Maybe if you'd of let the monkey fix it like I told you, you would'nt have had to reinstall Win98 again. o_O

Why did you have to bring my monkey into this? You know how my monkey has problems. Half the time it just slumps around, and when it does get up and do stuff, it does it half-assedly.

Besides, my monkey doesnt understand XP. It can barely operate with a floppy disk. And odds are that if my monkey got onto my computer, it would just go look at porn. And you know what I would have to do then? I'd have to spank my monkey. Sheesh,
