Ok, here is the problem.

1) I made a cool PSU character drawing, one that I want to bring to the game.

2)I used my art tools I recieved for christmas. It looks good. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

3) Now the problem. The image is too big for my scanner. I really want to post it. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif Any ideas?

Copy it and make it smaller. Then you can scan it.

Easier solution!

Scan in segments, and assemble digitally. ;o

It works. Though its prolly best you use Paintshop or Photoshop, as opposed to Paint.

Done with some of my new supplies.... I obviously have to fully master my new stuff but http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif here it is.

I couldn't get the stupid double saber just right but still, having this character on PSU would make me happy. I don't know if I will color it or not...

Grr...my stupid scanner.

wow, you've made a lot of improvement. his left hand looks a little odd, but the one holding the saber looks very good. hands are evil though, I still can't draw them well. everything else looks very nice though n.n

Though we don't exactly know yet, but double pistols would be awsome.

One way or another, this isn't a bad piece if I would say, except that it could be more clean but I had to do EXTENSIVE modification. I spent almost 3 hours on it.....http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

Chest seems too big and the waist seems too small. Otherwise, very nice.

Be careful, Zel, Dreo is kinda sensitive to critique ;p

Your drawings are looking better and better, dre!
Keep going ;o

Nah, don't worry too much bout the critique too much, I noticed that myself. Unfortunetly at the point I did notice it, I was too late to adjust anything without having to use another hour up. But still, I will continue practicing.

I think the important thing to remember when trying to get a creative project right, is that you shouldn't hesitate to take as much time as you need. It's one thing to be able to doodle something that looks neat in just a few minutes, but if you intend to create the shocker that'll inspire the ooo's and ahhh's that I expect you're looking for, then you're going to need to spend a great deal of time on it; it could be in excess of six hours, or it could be days or even weeks.

I agree with you but what I meant is that I finished it around 1 am and I didn't want to continue that late for the fear of messing up. And today, I doubt that I will have the opportunity to do much art work so I decided to finish it last night. But I know that if I am going to get lots of ooooo's and ahhh's ( http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif ) I'm going to have to put lots more time in and color, background, etc. Anyways, thank you for the concern.

Turns out that I actually had some time to spare today. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Color time! Looks nice in my opinion. It looks a WHOLE lot better on paper. I took Zel's ideas into thought and modified both the hips and the chest.

Hope it looks better! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
