Fable- The Lost Chapters.

Why didn't anyone TELL me this game was so good?!
Was watching my friend play the normal edition he got last week of his friend (as well as the X-Box) and thought it looked pretty interesting. Now, seeing as how I don't have, nor have ever wanted, an X-Box, so it's the pc version I got on Sunday. I was hooked immediatly. At any rate, it is a fun little game, but the PC version has quite a bit more extra material than the Xbox version, which is saying something. Fable, for being pretty awesome, is quite short. It does have plenty of replay value, though.

The Xbox version has better controls overall, though.

I never really liked Fable that much. :/ It's pretty good for a while, but after a certain point, you can really tell that it's lost its novelty. That, and the fact that if you only do the story quests, you can get though the game in six hours. :/ There's probably three or four times as much completely optional content as there is main storyline content, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, in itself...

Overall, the gameplay is pretty solid. The main story's a little short, but it depends on the sidequests to keep people playing.

Hmm, I got it for Xmas, and there is some stuff I've noticed that's different, in a good way. Remember when you had to dig? If you dug in the wrong spot, it would take forever to show that you didn't get anything. That's now supershortened. There are these 2 new attack spells that are freaking crazy, but I think they are basically the same thing, just different colors and sound fx. There's also this new mini game called Chicken Kickin. It's really fun and funny... I heard you can get a pimp hat too?
