I recently bought an Xbox 360 and this is actually my first xbox product. I understand though that PSO is still alive on Xbox live. My question is whether anyone knows if PSO Xbox, can be played in the new 360 and if so, do you pay SEGA for monthly fees? or do you have to pay xbox for xbox live?

My understanding is no - 360 is not compatible with PSO and they will not be releasing it for 360.

It does not work on XBOX 360. But I heard that they might create downloads in the future to be able to play most old XBOX games. That might be a little too far down the road for you seeing that PSo is dying and PSU will come out. If you still want to play it you need a regular XBOX, an XBOX live account and a Hunter's License which I believe is $8.99 a month.

I believe Microsoft is trying to have a software emulator made for most (If not all) of the original XBox games.

And as far as PSOX dying goes, I don't think it matters, even games no one bought is being emulated. (http://www.penny-arcade.com/images/2006/20060109h.jpg). http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
