My newest work; it's for a contest at school http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif I will hope to win it, since the prize is a form of a sum of money (Around 30-50 bucks) for a gift card on a specified store which I have no idea what it is >< No one in my school knows how to GC so this is probably very advantageous http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

The girl's school life was never really specified, but since she had a school uniform in several images, I used it for the image; and I gave her a book to give it a more school-ey look since it IS for a school contest

I used a tutorial for this, and I am extremely happy with it, and also rather horrified as well >< It is HELL trying to make a decent background...guess I'm stuck with this one...

Again I suck with backgrounds =_=

Wow, there is a definate improvement.
All I could suggest about this is perhaps move the eyes a little further apart, and perhaps make the colour of the bridge less like a girder.
Still, very nice work with the colour tones.

Anyway, nice coloring, face proportion is getting better ^_^
The arm holding the book looks rubber, but I make that mistake all the time myself. ><
