DC: Level Paradox? [Archive]

I am a DC player. In the first verion (V.1) The Maximum Level is 100. This was later changed by Sega in (V.2) to 200. If I leveled up to 100 in version 1 then played to 101 on version2 would I not be able to access (V.1)?

I think once you play your v1 character on v2, you can't play them on v1, regardless of level anyways.

Even if you moved it to Version 2 and stayed at level 100 forever, Version 1 would not read the data. I believe it would say something about it not being able to be used.

yeah, the savegame files get rewritten when you load them in v2 for the first time - and are invalid under v1.

Oh that would explain it. I had wondered if that was true or just corrupt my data.

Yeah, it's not like V1 was challenging, or anything.

V2 DID bring lots of neat stuffs though. I started fresh on V2, but my lv 100 char is still on V1. (and will stay so)
