I'm not gonna mention the fsoder name because its not even worth mentioning his name but he got banned from ST servers. Someone filled out a complaint form (I'm sure a few others did too but I guess his finally tip the scale).

Just the fact that Sega did something about this is amazing. I guess when you think about it, the fsoder was fsoding jp players too so...

but still, its still amazing. They banned all the his other HL too so he won't be back on for a while.

YES! YES! ST actually did something beneficial that we can see for the GC version and all it's... 100 remaining players...

never mind..

alright, so they blocked all the HLs he stole from others. good work. now if ST would have sued him, that would be something.

even banning the serials he used to get online doesnt do much, he only needs to get another copy of pso and can easily get back online which is pretty stupid on sonic teams part.

Wow, I'm amazed ST actually did something, as trivial as it is...
Good to hear that at least one 'hax0r' has been banned though http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

You know, they haven't done anything beneficial other than, oh I dunno, make the game, keep the servers up. So, yeah, nothing special right?

Some people would argue that Sonic Team has not adequately dealth with the cheating situation on Gamecube. These people feel that if they are paying for priviledge to play the game each month that the company should do something about "troublesome" individuals.

Glad to hear something happened. I really think people should drop PSOBB and come to GC http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif YOu know, when SEGA closes the PSOBB servers for good, you only have the gamecube left. The offline mode aswell http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif PSO, 4-player with 3 friends really own.

What makes you think the BB servers are coming down before the GC servers?

No, I meant that when BB gets down you only have the GC left. For OFFLINE play. Not online. So my hidden argument was that we should get more players to the GC since I'am playing on GC http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I imagine that the newly banned foe in question finally screwed up enough in EU to get ST's attention, thanks to our friend who filed that report. If it had happened in one of the US ships, it probably wouldn't have been enough to ban him. From my own personal experience, anyway. But at last something was done, and that's a very good thing.

He most likely FSODed some people on the JP (or EU) ships, I know first hand that they do ban people for people cheating beyond the use of dupes there.

I seriously doubt he got banned because of US reports, however...it's good to know ST cares about SOME ships at least...http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
