Is it easier to get rare weapons in the online version? (GC)

The droprates for online and offline mode are the same. It is generally easier to obtain items online though because there are more monsters.

Ah, okay. Thanks. I actually have the modem thingy for my GC, but I haven't figured out how to hook it up, and I need to purchase a hunter's liscence. Also, I have DSL. Is that a problem?

You'll need a broadband adapter if you want to use your DSL connection. Otherwise, you'll have to use a dialup solution.

Okay, thanks. My brother played online on DC, and said it was fun, so I'm trying to get online myself.

Do you think you could tell me where you found your DSL link cause i'm looking for the online component for the gamecube but i haven't found one yet. When I get online I'll trade you a Booma's Claw cause I got like a hundred of them and gave one to all of my friends in offline multiplayer mode.
