Yea, but I guest it can be confused with anime but they are both completelly different. Manga has bigger eyes while anime has more realistic eyes. I guest thats one difference.

Manga = Comic format, often printed on paper.

Anime = Films, short or long. Television shows.

manga
- I think it's real meaning means 'spontaneous and meaningless drawing', but in Japan it is for comic book. The West of course has adopted this word as Japanese comic books

wow--- ppl really dont know wht manga and anime differences? Manga is dont in black and white (do to cheaper reproduction cost) and is usally a graphic novel (normal sized book but in comic form and u read the good ones right to left) and anime on the other hand is "animated" and is in color. manga eyes and anime eyes are the SAME. The size, realism and so forth depend upon the artist who drew the original img---- so anime and manga eyes can look the same and evne realistic or drastically out of proportions.... and the original pictue that sparked this discussion--- reminds me of "Bobobo-bobo-bobobo" if anyone has eer seend that--- creepy drawings.....
