FanArt: Yet another work in progress

Alas not only did I not have enough time to finish this for the contst, but I wont have time to finish it for a while...so I'll just post a preview...since I'd like some feedback.
I'm extremely unfamiliar with both background work and painting styles in photoshop. Both of which I tried here. And the sky and water are from a photo, just the rocks and how the rocks blend to the water are mine. I'll be painting over the photo later.

But on the picture, the left hand looks a little "Witch Like." Keep it up.

really nice feet. feet are generally butchered, but yours are near flawless. the rest of the pic is even better.
