I'm not sure but I doubt it since we could plat the JP trail editoin on our PC's. PC's are not like console in that they are only formatted for certain countries.

US Windows can run most Japanese programs.

I have Queen of Heart 98, 99, 99 SE, Valkyrie Fight, Variable Geo MAX, and a few other Japanese games on my computer. All of them work just fine.

You may need a program such as NJStar in order to see the text correctly in some games though.
