To me this holiday is a corperate marketing scheme to boost profits. Not to mention it is an excuse for horney couples to flaunt their "love" (which might actually be lust in a few cases, but not all) to the rejects.

"Poor little Joker" gets to sit at home alone and "depressed" because she can't get a significant other on her own if her life depended on it.

Man, I can't even stand Valentines day. I don't care about "tradition" or whatever. If I'm not dating, it makes me feel like I should be.. and if I AM dating, it makes me feel like I should conform to what everybody else is doing and be romantic just because it's a certain day of the year. I am pretty neutral on the whole Valentine's Day thing. The only bit I have a problem with is some people's attitude that not having a boyfriend or girlfriend makes you a loser. Everyone's priorities are different, yeah?
