Well. i just got paintshop 9 from... I got paintshop 9 from a [legal-ish] source. This took me awhile to do because i have worked on it for one hour in the past week... tell me what is wrong and what is correct about this. i still need to improve. I also have no idea how to use layers in paintshop.

ok, everything but the HEAD AND SHOULDERS uhm...where are my manners, everything looks ok besides those top items. I'd like it much more with a little "correction"

Erm.... are you talking about the white dots everywhere? I don't know how to get better scans....... its always "fuzzy." The neck and hsouolders are thinner on purpose. The neck is a bit strange I will admit (it's too thin.) Does anyone know how to get a scanner to scan images for less "fuzziness" and more detail?

Click the paper, name it and say OK

A suggestion is to make your lineart with the computer. Its painstakingly tedius, but you avoid these random white specs.

Thats more of a sharp/contrast feature of the scanner, most can handle it. As far as the picture I think its a big improvement over the last one. But I think the head is a little small for the body otherwise good job. Also you may want to play with the Burn/Dodge tools or equivalent (not sure what that would be in that program.) to help clean up the line art before coloring.

Photoshop has Pen Tool. PSP, you have to draw the lines in, unless theres another way i don't know.

As for Dodge/Burn. PS has the tool, PSP has the layer option

Behold, a tiny lil figure with some correct anime-esque proportion

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v26/Snoopychan/huhe2.jpg

Take note of how you're placement of her chest differes from you, No, don't say that size is the excuse, they never go that deep into their shoudler.

(mod/whomever, edit this if the picture deems "offensive")

Well I took a look at PSP5 (I had it in an Archived backup haven't used in yrs) an it has a Dodge and Burn in the Retouch Tool. The Multiply and Screen are more transparency types for your layers.

But for help with "anime-esque" proportions
