Sue quest. Does this exist?

I've heard of a offline quest involuing Sue. Not the one which earns you Soul Eater, but one in which you befriend Sue, and learn more about her relations to Bernie. Apon completion, you can get an extra ending to the 'Soul of Steel' quest. True or false?

i did it without the quide when i accidentally told sue my name. you get the alternative ending for soul of steel this way. but there is no weapon this way instead of the soul eater.
