I heavily encourage buying it, if you have never seen it. Its an amazing movie that does justice to the original show like nothing I have ever seen.

Well she is hot. Are you talking about the dvd release of it? I always wanted to see it because the singing in it was good and I was curious of the plot.

Yeah, the DVD release for the US anyways. 21st of Febuary. Like I said in my post, if you havent seen it, GET IT! The plot is... I wont spoil it. Its too good.

Err, I read some reviews and its based on some 90's issues that aren't that relevant or outrageous now.

I overheard someone saying they were in the movie as an extra and watched it twice in theaters to see himself in it.

No. Its not about AIDS. It simply plays a part in the storyline. One person died, and another survived by a miricale. Though, by HIV, not AIDS.

It's really interesting, I didn't know a thing about Rent until a week and a half ago, and now I'm hooked on it's music (But have no idea what the story is about or anything XD)

My Stage Band is playing a piece that is comprised of a bunch of songs from Rent (Shortened versions though, like the opening song cuts out the annoying conversation between Joanna and Marine? XD), and after we first heard what we were playing, I was instantly crazy for it. I instantly got a much of songs from it and listen to it constantly (My brothers are sick of hearing it now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif)

Magic Johnson used to have HIV but he drunk some juice that made him invincible or something... NectarAmbrosia from China I think... I don't know. It's good the guy is still alive though.I would cry if he died.
