Realized it had been too long since I had done something like this. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

A colored image will probably come around sometime tomorrow.

There's a lotta depth through the lines there, uncommon(not a bad thing at all mind you, very refreshing to see) for such a close up pic.

Also the Section ID collar is very detailed and looks way better than in game, that's for sure!

I see creativity http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif I always make the costumes exactly how they look xD Guess I'm a freak like that...

Back on-topic!

Tried something a little more fun this time in terms of lighting. Hope you guys like it. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I think I'm in love with cell shading.http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Currently my illustration class has us doing a ton of value studies. And when I saw your line art I thought it would be excellent practice.

I find value studies pretty fun, since color is such a pain for me.

Very nice work. Good expression and mood, though I feel like I wanna cry now, because it seems so sad.
And nice coloring too.

I like the eyes a lot and I like the detail in his hair.

great job. i like the color choice. I did something like that for art... a monochromatic color set (blue.) Did you use the computer to color that?

Woah, thanks guys!

I'm still relying too much on (yes, digital)color to distract from my sloppy line work. Though I love it dearly, it takes too much time to be used practically. ;-;

I think Ancient's shading adds an excellent depth to it, that and the stronger source of lighting adds to the shape of the body much better than mine. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif (the feather was a nice touch, too)

The support is appreciated. My next few pieces are booked, but maybe after that I can get around to taking requests.

Thanks about my value practice. And I think your lines are quite nice in this piece. Very smooth, and fit the tone of the image very well. I just put a feather brush in at the last second because I couldnt think of anything else for him to be focusing on so sadly...except maybe a magazine saying PSU had been delayed again...but thats too hard to draw...
