I think the Dimenian is very well done. It seems very stylized like a character from Samurai Jack or something. I would work on the background, adding more detail to the walls, etc. Or, make it look like a dark room and make the Dimenian's claws and your mag all glowy. But kudos for using pastels, I know they aren't the easiest media to work with.

The Gaia avatar is pretty cool. I used to be totally addicted to Gaia. I might go check it out, see what's going on since I was last there. Good job at matching the Gaia "style" in your pixel work. Thanks! The background is simple, because it's hard to draw more detail in without disturbing what's already there.

Pastel piece: I like the Dimenian too! Stylized art like yours is very cool in its own right. I like your choice of colors too. Gives a kind of dream like feeling, I'd say.

I actually kinda like the fact the background is rather simple, it has a certain quality about it while not distracting from the figures.

It's an interesting angle as well, and seems to have been pulled off pretty nicely, especially on the FOnewearl.
