First, I'd like to congradulate the winners. Next, I'd like to say, you lucky bastards. (Just kidding http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif )

This is my piece. Unfortuantely, I didn't have time to FULLY finish my piece. Now, that I have had some time, I took some time to make it a little more like how I wanted. Still shadows and color blending to do, but ya know, gotta do what ya gotta do.

Go head and tell me what's on your mind.

(Hmm...it's smaller than it was originally....)

Anatomy! Anatomy!!!

She looks like she has abnormal growth out of her pelvis as well as her behind. Her body is almost like a rectangle with spheres attached to it.

I say it again.
Anatomy! Anatomy! That is a priority!!!

two little things I'd like to point out.

one thing is called tangents. Tangents are when a line of one object is in line with one from another. They sometimes look as if they are to be connected.

The bottom of the bow looks as if it could be connected to the leg. they are lined up for that.

2nd, is a silhouette. for a good silhouette of a character, you will usually be able to tell what it is, and what is going on. With the silhouette of your character, it looks kinda weird. I'll post some pictures for refrence later.

Lets get down to the point.

She is missing an ass. Despite how dainty, tiny, chibi they are. They will always have ass curves. Like navinator said, your body frame is entirely block. Long time ago, i mentioned to you about females being curvy.

This curvyness is also present with your back. (Touch your back, its not entirely straight to begin with.)

The face and head looks very awakard with how you have your eyes/nose/mouth in place.

I said this once, twice, amillion times. If you want to learn quick and easy anatomy skill, find pictures of peoples at beaches, or look in clothing catalouge. (Probably best to aim for the swimsuit/least amount of big poofy clothing) or actually read up about the subject. You want to improve right? I will be down right honest and tell you, i have seen little to no improvement from before you're quitting, to now.

Good luck.

To get down anatomy and human form, a friend of mine started to look at pictures online, and try to re-draw them with pencil/paper.

On the third and fourth picture, he had dramatic improvements(I'd link you to the progression of his pictures, but it's male nudity).

He has since gotten a massive book that shows very indepth color illustrations of musculature and bone structures, as well as tendons and so on, which has helped even more with his understanding of what parts of the body should look like during stances and so on.

You might try the same thing, at the least finding pictures and trying to re-draw them by eye.(Make sure it's pictures that you can see anatomy, muscle-tones, curvatures, definition, etc)

That is an interesting idea.....I'll try and look into that! As to everyone else, I'll try and explain some of your problems later. Right now, onto Blue Burst for me http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
