PSO Screenshot Thread - March 2006

Welcome to the March 2006 version of the PSO Screenshot Thread. You can find last month's thread here (http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=107812&forum=1&173). All PSO screenshots, Episode 1&2 and Blue Burst, should be posted here.

Remember to be mindful of the screenshots you post and remember that this is a family-oriented site.

Also, it is highly recommended that you keep your screenshots under 700 pixels wide. Anything larger than that will cause most forum members to have to scroll horizontally. If you want to post images larger than that, link to them using the url tags and provide a brief description of the screenshot.

If you have a large number of screenshots, link to them using the url tags and provide a brief description.

It is also recommended that you convert your images to JPG to keep the file sizes smaller. If you do not have the ability to resize or convert, try using this program: http://www.xnview.com/

Posts that are not directly related to a picture or a question about a picture will be considered off-topic and dealt with according to the forum rules.

If you need image hosting, you can use Getintothegame's server. As long as you use it for PSOW images only, you may use it. The tool is located here (http://www.getintothegame.net/upload). Also, you may use it to submit pictures to the Item Database and Fan Works.

Addition: Let's try to leave the drama out of this month's thread. Also, I'll be keeping a closer eye on pixel width sizes this month. Remember to keep images under 700 pixels wide.

Well I don't think that is a good way to be. It shows poor character to me.

Certainly a player could play hard and be a good player and coincidentally find items that make his character look good, and that is fine.

However if a player starts being greedy and selfish and forgets that PSO is about other people and being a good friend, then "looking good" becomes a vice.

All MMORPG's become a fashion show over time.
Everyone wants to have the best looking, and most memorable characters. The fact that PSU has such a deep and advanced Character customization system, is even more proof of this fact. And people still play the game, they just like to change outfits once in a while. The same character can get very boring to play for 200 lvls, and some people enjoy the ability to change the hair, and costume of their characters ever so often, to keep the game fresh.

The name was for the ID. I decided to make a HUmar, RAmarl, and FOmarl on BB (which I later realized would be stupid). My first attempt at a RAmarl was Scarlet. I deleted her because there wasn't a reason to make a new RAmarl.

I'm starting to realize that the 700 pixel limit a little silly. First of all, 700 pixels will stretch the tables when I go to 800x600 resolution. Secondly, an 800 pixel image won't stretch the tables enough for it to be of any concern. Seeing as one of the default resolutions of Blue Burst is 800x600, I think 800 would be a better limit.

Here here. I agree completely. Logic itself is on the side of the 800 pixels. The 100 pixel difference is minimal as far as "table streching" goes, yet enough to cause screenshots to be forced into links. Silly, and unneeded.
