500KB Image Size for Free Users
Photobucket has increased the maximum file size for free users from 250KB to 500KB. This change allows free users to upload higher resolution or quality images to their account.

Here are a couple of videos I uploaded to test it out:

Max Picture Size in Account Options -
Photobucket now gives you more control in determining how your images get published. Premium and free users now have the ability to choose their "Max Picture Size" and new uploaded images will be resized to match your custom setting.

w00t, this is really good news. I can start saving my PSO screenshots as PNG instead of GIF. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Okay, what gives.

My free account has none of these new features which the site says the free accounts have as well.

Tech help the PC NOOB!

EDIT:
Found the movie option(!) but the size of image not being raised past 512 kb still in options.

Not bling.
