I'm not sure where I should post this, but I just felt like announcing I just got my hands on a copy of the Adobe Production Studio http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif.

Adobe After Effects 7.0 Pro.
Adobe Premiere Pro. 2.0
Adobe Photoshop CS2
Adobe Audition 2.0
Adobe Encore DVD 2.0
Adobe Illustrator CS2
Adobe Dynamic Link
Adobe Bridge

As well as stock photos.

--------------------------------------
Hardware Requirements.

Intel dual Xeon 2.8GHz
MS XP home/pro. SP2
2GB RAM
21GB free HD space (+ 10GB for cashing)
and one Dedicated 7200RPM striped disk array storage.

Hum.. I may need to upgrade?

All this for a ridiculously low price. Which I will not tell. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

and I still don't have a tablet.

What's Adobe Bridge? That's the only one I don't have from that set.

Gee.. got moved to fan works, didn't realize this counted?

I had Premiere Pro 1.5 (I used it on almost a daily bases, for a hobby), I do like the layout a little better in 2.0 It allows DivX 6.1 which Premiere 1.5 had trouble with. And after a little video "conforming" 1.5 *.prproj run just fine. I have never had After Effects so I am looking forward to learning a new piece of software. It came with a 500+ tomb to read. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

I have the Adobe creative suite (illustrator, photoshop, imageready). But my system is nowhere near those specs listed. Yet they all run just fine. I wonder which of those programs requires those stats. I can even run Zbrush and Maya and Flash with no problems on my machine.

The higher specs are purely for HD and HDV.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the info. All my stuff is for the web currently, so that doesnt really apply to me at the moment.

Yes unless your tring to do High Def. DVD production than you should be fine with..

P4 1.4GHz and up.
512MB of RAM (1GB recomended)
still need 21GB of HD space..

Which is a little more realistic for most people.

I have.
AMD Athlon 3500+ 64bit
1GB of PC3200 RAM
1TB of Hard Drive space. (I just disabled my striped array due to HD falure.)
GeForce 6800GS 256MB
Sound Blaster Audigy 7.1

So I think I'll be fine for the most part.
