Materials and Maxing Out

I was wondering, my character can't use Evasion, Defense and Luck Materials anymore. what does this meen. I think if your base number turns goldor yellow that it is maxed out, but none of my stats are yellow like that. Please help me cause it's troubling for me when I cant use the materials so I just leave them or give them to a friend in multiplayer. Also the max luck is 100 but my luck is only 20 not counting the Master/Abilities and my flowen's sword or god hand.

You have limited amount of mats that you can use in total. Regardless of what each particular mats you use. Once that number is used up, you cant use anymore... ever.

It menas you've maxed out on mats. Newmans and andriods can only use 150 stat mat total, Humans can use 250 stat mats total. This doesn't count HP/TP mats which is a seperate 150 count for everyone.

Then the safest way to use materials is after you reach lvl 200, no?

The safest way is plan ahead what your material usage will be and keep your totals for every pow, def, mst, evade, and luck mat you use.

Check out the Character Guides (http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?section=Character&op=viewtopsection) section. There's a number of max stats guides as well as indepth per character guides that'll tell you what the default stats will be at every 5 levels.

seems an awful amount of trouble to go through ive already maxed my mat usage so i have no choice but i just use random mats on my other chars

That sucks cause my luck can't go up anymore! I will just have to use master/abilities and my god hand or whatever. If it raises luck I shall use it.

luck aint all that good i wouldn't epuip master abilities and stuff just to boost luck :/
