Anyone looking forward to this games release on Wednesday?
I am... I'm a big Shadow Hearts freak, and the first one is my favorite game ever.
For anyone unfamiliar with the series, its a turnbased RPG set in the real world, during the early 1900's. with some alternate history and quirky characters thrown in.
It has a unique battle system called the Judgment ring. Whenever you do an action in battle, a ring pops up, with several shaded areas,and an indicator that sweeps around the ring. You have to hit each area for the attack to be a sucess. There are also "strike" areas on the ring which are harder to hit, but if you hit it, you get a bonus like added damage, or you are healed more.
Yeah I'm sorry I cant describe the battle system very well, but definatly check it out, its a great series, and it needs more attention.
