Ha, I love the idea. When I first see this I think of a Catapult Turtle from Yu-Gi-Oh, but instead of a launcher we have a giant death beam of doom! Images of Genbu come to mind as well.

It's good, but I do notice a few things: the angle for the gun seems a bit off. The turtle faces one way, but the gun itself is... flatter than it should be, you know? The lines on the shell could follow its contours better as well. Keep all that in mind... it's not too shabby, though. Like I said, the very idea gives me glee in teh brain.

LOL catapult turtle! Great memories. The gun as the last guy said (too lazy to check name) is a bit flat so try using perspective next time or draw it from the side then straight at you then try the "3/4" view. The concept is great though and (as always) scanners suck at keeping shade quality.

The tortoise's shell looks more like a brick pattern than any average shell pattern. Looks nice anyway, though.

Haha, that's great. I'm not sure if it's just the inclusion of value in this picture, but I see a lot of improvement in this piece over your other ones. I mean, the flat gun, sure, but that seems more like the friend who did the shading's fault.
