meh. there's some alright ones. but not many that i would buy and not ever trade in. there's some fun multiplayer stuff...mario tennis, mario parties, etc. Even Windwaker i wouldn't play through again. i just borrow games from my GC owning friends to keep me occupied till something worthwhile comes out.

....still waiting

I'm never tossing another console EVER. I was young and dumb when I traded in my NES and SNES with all the great Mario games (plus F-Zero http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif) and all I got was Castlevainia 64 and Bomberman 64.

C'mon Revolution. GET RELEASED DAMN IT. I want to play Super Mario World.

GameCube has tons of great games. >_>;

If you like the Legend of Zelda series, there's The Windwaker, Ocarina of Time (both Master Quest and the original version), and the "Collector's Edition" (Majora's Mask, original Legend of Zelda, Zelda II, and OoT...again).

And even besides those, there's plenty of other good stuff. Soul Calibur II or Super Smash Brothers: Melee for fighting games, the excellent Metroid Prime games, various Resident Evil titles, killer7 (trippy and mature!)...

If you like DC era games, you can also get stuff like Skies of Arcadia, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, which I just recently ordered for myself http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif, or Sonic Adventure DX.

Gamecube rocks far harder than PS2 or Xbox. My Xbox hasn't worked properly since a week after I bought it, PS2 hasn't got a good game to it's name that you can't buy for something else, then of course theres my Gamecube. It hasn't froze once in the 4-5 years i've had it, the games kick-ass and it's FAR cheaper.

Did you know that the Gamecube is out-selling the Xbox 360 in Japan? THAT is the power of nintendo.

There will be a shell so you don't have to use that controller for some games, you know.

And here I was about to point out that he should make sure the Gamecube was properly elevated above the ground to make sure it didn't get clogged up with dust...

... but I totally skipped over the more obvious meaning of "collecting dust."

Seriously, though - even if you're a hardcore fan of the usual PS2 or X-Box titles, there are more than enough excellent games on the Gamecube that are worth playing.

You're really just not looking hard enough if there's nothing to play. (Or you get bored with games extremely quickly.)

Gamecube has awsome titles (see above list) and a few to add on to that list (as long as you have friends and SPs) are Four Swords and Crysal Chronicals. You can never go wrong with those two games and all the ones stated above.

I almost made it out with all my friends but as always they quit playing before beating a game http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

If you've never played it, pick up Eternal Darkness. It's a great game with an interesting storyline.
