i was wondering is it true that you automatically find this when you have killed 1000 or so enemies with the soul eater or can it only be found?

Get a Red Sword or Chain Sawd. Soul Banish isn't that good for HUs but, assuming you can muster 850 ATP, it's awfully nice for meleeing FOs.

I use a Banish with my HUnewearl on GC. People are always telling me to use a sword, but I love the Banish, it's a really nice weapon.

On topic, the banish is only findable. The Soul Eater does not change.

But it is beat in ATP and, while it has an advantage in ATA, that's not nearly as much of an issue with HUs (maybe for Hucasts). Also, the special isn't anything to write home about.

Still, I only need to muster up 200 more ATP before Magnus can use it. Blimey. ¬_¬

My Humar has a 0/25/0/0/20 Red Sword, and a 20/20/0/0 Soul Banish, and I actually use them about the same. The Soul Banish's faster attack speed is great for when you get surrounded by enemies.

If you have a Skyly, it's 1/394 from a Delbiter in Ultimate. I would suggest having one in addition to a Sword type item.

Is that with a */Battle unit?

I find that swords are plenty quick with a God/Battle and you can keep enemies at bay if you only do a light-hard combo.

SOUL BANISH. I remamber. I was origionally lead to believe that you could get it by doing the soul eater quest on Ult... But... alas.

It's worth it for meleeing Forces. 200 more ATP and more (but not that much) ATA than the Soul Eater PLUS actually able to get hit and other %'s on it (for offliners that is).

*Sigh* Getting closer... 678 ATP. I need more Power Materials.

I'm using a Sato 150POW, 38DEX, 12DEF mag with a God/Power, 2x God/Arms, and a God/Battle. That, plus the Power Materials I've been finding now and then, puts me at... 742. And I still got 73 pow mats to go for my Fomar's quota.

I'd make a better one but that'd take a while and it wouldn't be "special".

special mags rule good luck finding those mats
