well o.o I'm new here, but I've been lurking for quite a while, been playing PSO since around 2002 since Gamecube, went trough a while of V1 PC and recently PSObb :3 today I decided to be un-lazy and get the markers working, hope you all like, critics are very welcome, flames are not >:o

Heeey, no hate here. In fact, Furry is the new race in Phantasy Star Universe! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Yes indeed it is wuvable. Nice work, is that marker? Gah, I bow to you, I can't color with anything other the color pencil in real life.
I agree with the panty thread thought too. <3

tons of practice and a very, VERY very quick hand do the trick X3 have to go over the colors real fast before they dry in order to make them blend in softly, that's the trick

hmmm.... I can make a specific piece for the panty thread X3 >.>

saddly I dont have many *cough* decent works, this is, seriously, like my 7th fully clothed pic ever since I started drawing 6 years ago XD but I'll see about contributing with new pieces now and then, I still have some old (and decent) PSO related works, I guess I can dig them out and share

Oooh, not often I see well-done marker pieces. The only areas I see problems with the colour are her stockings (there's no shading there - could just be a scanner issue, though, as I know at least my scanner hates those blue-purple tones) and the fan (which also looks a bit flat, though I'll admit that's also from lack of detail in the inking - but since it's not the main focus, that's kind of understandable).

>.> I always thought I was weird for putting yellow highlights in red hair - glad to see I'm not. ^_^ The hair looks great, although I'd like to see how it would look if you got a marker that's a little bit darker and added some deeper shadows in a few places.

Just try being a little more careful around your white areas, too. Or take a white coloured pencil to them to cover places where the colour bleeds out into the white. I notice it mostly along the collar of her top where you did a lot of skintone blending, so I'm guessing it's a problem with the markers bleeding.

I'm not sure what kind of paper and stuff you used, but what works for me is to use thin marker paper or copy paper (I go with this because it's cheaper >.>) with a piece of cardboard behind it - the marker goes straight through the paper onto the cardboard, and it bleeds there instead of on the paper. It makes mixing a lot easier, too, because you can keep the colours wet without ruining the paper as quickly.

Also, what kind of markers do you use?

Anyway, I really like the idea of her having a dragon tail. ^_^ At least, I'm assuming it's a dragon tail? I also find it interesting that you left off the platforms on her shoes. >.> I want her boots.

The little bows she's got all over are a cute addition, too, and they tie in with the bow in her hair. ^_^

And no one start attacking me please. I did my best to be nice, so I'm sorry if I failed.

Hi Welcome to PSOW.
I like your pic. it reminds me of Rumiko Takahashi's style. Good job on the coloring, I can never get markers to do what I want them to. I just stick with CG now.

Hope to see you around.

oh hey, the FO in your sig has the same uniform X3 neat

hmmm, first, you are correct, there is no shading in the stocking, I be guilty, mostly because I was too lazy and last time it turned out rather problematic, so this time I just skipped on it, but I can always try http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

hmmm, the fan, yeah, the fan, it lacks a lot of detail in the inking because I wanted to leave it as smooth as possible, I might try giving it some orange tones to fluff it up some http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

hmmm, I dont usually do the yellow on red hair, but in this case it has a character reason behind it, she is daugther of a blonde father and redhead mother, one of her sisters has pure blonde hair, the other has deep red hair, she's stuck in between, mostly depending on how light hits her hair it turns from pale orange to bright red; your critic, however, is valid, and I will see about darkening the shades around the proper places to see if I get mroe depth

yeah @.@ lot of bleeding and also a good deal of distracted hand http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif the top was from the last things I finished coloring so I was a little tired by the time, good point though, I have a set of prisma pencils and it has a nice white, I will see if it works well to fix those details o.o

hmmmm, I dont have the exact brand, but it's a paper specific for markers, though in a slightly thin setting; and yes, I do use a sheet of bristol behind each page to prevent bleeding

hmmm, I use copic markers http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

*coughcoughcough*

This Is A Pangolin, like Jamini (http://www.pangolin.com/PangolinPic.html)

and, personal taste, I dont like the taaaaaall shoes, so I cut off the platforms http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif thank you so much for the indepth critic, stuff like this is what makes artists grow =D and it makes the Kuro happy thankyou~!

She's very well-endowed. Yet childish as well.

It makes me feel strange.

This has got to be one of the best pieces of art I've to date though, bravo.

thank you much http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

and well, it's mostly due to the PSO setting, I do draw her more 'innocent' than usual, and the whole FOnewearl costume makes about any character to look a tad younger, that, and the fact that due to her species, she's not taller than 1.50m make her look relatively young, but she's supposed to be around 25-ish
...

now her girlfriend /DOES/ looks like a loli X3

;_____;

Lucky! I wish I could afford to use Copics.

I like your explanation of her hair/highlights. It shows that you really put thought into this character. ^_^ (Me? I always did it because I didn't want red hair to have pink highlights. Your reason's a lot cooler.)

ETA: If you're having problems shading darker colours, like on the stockings, you could always try just laying down the base colour with markers, and adding the shading with coloured pencil or pastels or something.

Very Cute http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif
Her stockings and shoes look a bit flat, and, I bet it's hard to make a fan...
But it's real cute http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif And not like really model skinny (yes, that's a good thing... If I ever become a fasion designer, I'd hire plumper models for the catwalk, just because I'm so annoyed with what it's like today in the media -.-) http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif
