In the long going case about Sony not patenting the Dual Shock 2 controllers, they appearantly lost there appeal, meaning that they HAVE to pay the fee that the company has asked for.

Wow, that is an interesting twist to the console race.

Wonder what Sony will do now.

If i were them, i would have taken both Microsoft and Sony down....Mm..but i like Sony....Oh well, infringing is bad! *slaps Microsoft and Sony*

This means that Sony not only has to pony up and awful lot of cash to Immersion Technologies, but it has to stop infringing on the patent - that means stop selling kit which includes Dual Shock technology, and that means pulling the PS2 off the shelf.

So take the rumble out.

Big difference.

Keep the design right?

Just recall the consoles that contain the rumble controllers?

this will be interesting to see what they do with the PS3 now, since as I recall, it was pretty expensive already.
