I was just wondering whether there was anyway to survive their spit attack on ultimate, dark resistance? Thanks in advance http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Dodge resistance. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Infamously known for being a one hit kill.

But whoever did get hit and take it without dying probably doesn't apply to the rest of us irregardless.

Nah, it's instant-death. Since it isn't a dark attack, you can't increase you chances of survival with EDK. You just need to damage-lock the Mericarol, or dodge a lot.

I imagine it's actually a fixed damage attack that deals damage much higher than any class's maximum HP?

nah, its a 1 hit kill thing, there is no way around it. the only thing you can do is have a few scapes available, be invincible by your mag and kill it or have someone revive you.

I think Saiffy tested this a while back, after lots of people were saying it was fixed damage. Anyway, he found that it's instant-death,NOT fixed-damage.

Ah, I see... oh, well, I guess it really doesn't matter, the end result is the same: your lifeless corpse on the ground. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Attempt to attack from farther back.
If memory serves me right, my ranger could take out those nasty buggers with a rifle. They won't shoot at you if you're far away enough, and you can just hit them over and over.

That's true. And actually, if you get just within rifle range and start hitting them, they won't be able to do that dash at you. They'll do the wobble-wobble animation for it but they won't move.

But if you're stuck with a pistol, you can just keep them stunned by hitting them quickly and continuously.
