Ok, for english class I need to write a review for a magazine project we're doing. Some background; we're in groups, making a magazine where each member needs to do 1 Major piece (Essay), 1 Minor piece and an ad/cover. My group is doing a music magazine.

So I'm writing a review on the album Hypnotize (System of a Down) for my minor piece (Minor piece only has to be 200+ words), but I really have no idea how to start it. I know what I want to put in the body of it, but just starting I need help with.

No questions/comments on taste of music http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

start by talking about the different variaties of music and then focus in on the unique style of System of a Down(btw i love them http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif ) so just try that and see what happens

hope this helps

Lead-in, start talking about more general things, then lead in to talking about the album.

Next talk about the general sound, and some of your prefered tracks. It also might be a good idea to do a song-by-song review. Then bring up some of the songs you didn't like so much. After that, talk about how you feel about the album overall, then give the rating.

Start with a few lines from Vicinity of Obscenity. Then, once the confusion has set in, begin speaking coherently and bring understanding to chaos.
