Rifles and Handguns?

What's the main diff netween Guns and Rifles? I mean as far as I can see Rifles have more distance, more pow attack and are more abundant. What's the diff between these 2 weps? Cause in other clases there's a mayor diff between weps yet not here...

well really there isnt much of a diff., just mostly what uv already said....rifles have greater distance, and more power, but only certain classes cant uses rifles to handguns....as HUs can use some handguns, but cant use any rifles, other ppl can expand on this...

Nonetheless, I find handguns useful on my HUcast. Great for shooting out traps, and I usually pack a Custom Ray when I visit Dark Falz to at least get a few hits in while he's invincible.

Hrmmm. Does the special get the damage bonus (when used with the armor and shield)? I just curious because it's based on MST.

Handguns are slightly faster, are generally more available to HUs and FOs than Rifles - although many of the more powerful Handguns (Yas2k, Heaven Punisher, Heaven Striker, Ophelie Seize, Ruby Bullet etc.) are RA-only - and have less range (the exception being Heaven Striker, which has rifle range on its Normal and Hard attacks).

Rifles have longer range (except for Egg Blaster), but are mostly RA-only (with a few exceptions... Holy Ray can be used by any non-androids except RAmar, who cannot get enough MST to meet the requirement, and Bringer's Rifle can be used by FOs, there are others too).

+ Quite a few usable by non-Rangers.

Inferno Bazooka isn't a Rifle. It uses the Shot animation.

Handguns are noticeably faster than rifles, while rifles are usually more powerful, more accurate and have better range (but slower).

Kef, you wouldn't happen to have some kind of video showing the might of Heaven Striker? I'd like to see it in action.

I don't have a whole lot of experience in using Rifles, besides my RAcaseal's Frozen Shooter, which I mainly use for the stellar special. Everyone else just uses a Red Handgun.

I'd like to mention that the even though the Drill Launcher is technically a rifle, it doesn't have anywhere near rifle range. There are no rifle-ranged weapons that HUcasts and HUcaseals can use.

Being the proud owner of a Heaven Striker myself, I can safely say it rocks (apart from the fact it fires standard green bullets, which is a bit eh).

I'd make a video myself but I suck at all that stuff, so if Ryna makes good videos best let him do it, heh.

I have found alot of Red Handguns. They are realy good offline, even with now percents. *huggles her Red Handguns* For rifles, I like http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y66/Aisha_Clan_Clan_Prower/Pso%20Sprites/pso_egg_blaster.png, but the one I use alot for my few Ranges is the Trusty Justy. The Devil's element is realy helpful in Ulti.
