My monitor died Wensday...

FINALY got an LCD screen. An Envision H193Wk 19" Widescreen. Wow! The widescreen will take a little time getting used to, but I finaly have a good one. No more huge CRT. Should be cooller in my room now too.

I still prefer flatscreen CRT. They have better refresh rates and vivid colors.

True, but mine is decent, as well as it takes up alot less room, dosn't give off heat/radiation, and lightweight.

If you are doing detailed graphics work, CRTs are definitely the way to go. LCDs will often give you false colors. Also, they are cheap.
