... Christina and Christopher are starting to grow tired in the legs. Together, they know nothing but peace, as they share a bond together that not many have. Being twins, they can almost feel what the other is thinking, and they constantly prove to be linked by finishing each other's sentences or thoughts.
Christopher stops walking, but doesn't let go of his sister's hand. She gets jerked just a bit, not enough to knock her over, but enough to make the puffs of her hat bob as she turns around with a questioning look. He's looking off into the sea, the setting sun gleaming off his cute, boyish face.
Sensing something is bothering her brother, Christina steps over to him and hugs him at the waist, looking up at him and squeezing just enough to let him know she's there for him. His arm wraps around him and hugs her close, his gaze never leaving the distant waters.
"Is there something wrong?" She asks him, hoping he'll turn to her and give her an answer. Stepping back, Christopher takes her hands and holds them as he faces her, their arms resting at their sides.
He takes a deep breath and responds to her question.
"Christina, there's something I've always wanted to ask you, but I was too afraid."
Sensing his obvious nervousness, Christina squeezes his hands and smiles.
"It's ok, Christopher, you can ask me anything."
"Well," he finally mumbles out. "You're someone very special to me, and I know that you won't judge me." She nods her head in agreement as he continues. "Alright, here goes."
