I am not happy with the PSO fonts that I have found. They don't seem clean and they are difficult to read, so I'll try my best at making a nice and clean PSO font.

Because I really need one for my comic.

What will you use to make the font?
I know illustrator can help out with stuff like that, and I've even tried to do a font in there, but it takes some kind of fonting program to actually give the the code/extension w/e it needs.

I DL'd a couple pso fonts (maybe from here) and the best one is the main one "PSOFONT" and not ramar or fonewearl or something where it's rounded off. I use it for signs and things in my comic, and havn't had too much trouble.

If you do end up making it, I wonder if fan-works would take it as a fan work? Would you allow others to DL it? I am interested in this project, good luck!

Eh? I'm somewhat certain that the ones that can be downloaded from Sega (which can be found various places on the net) are the ones Sonic Team has actually used. They seem clean enough to me... although I do notice with ClearType (subpixel rendering for fonts) they seem a bit blurry on the edges.

Yea, the fount seems cramped by the way they are created. Its hard to focus on them when the gap is too small. I agree.
