I am prefering the one that is in the little sketch right now I think. It seems like it would be more interesting sideways.

I agree with Navci. I think the second picture will be more interesting. Also, it'll probably be easier to work with.

Currently the way I'm trying to see it...
- Right foot (the sole of shoe is flat on the ground)
- Left foot (the toe tip is touching the ground)

Sorry if I'm being too technical here (or are his legs crossed)?

What is it beside her feet again?
The only thing I can think of is that, the silver flamey thing isn't standing out enough because of the background being a bit too prominent?

Hmm. On a glance I actually didn't notice the changes. I know what you are trying to do, but I am starting to think maybe if the pillar thing wasn't in the flame's place it could have worked out better.
