According to this site, the artist of PSO is... and he has released an artbook.

His art doesn't look like the stuff from the official work. It's a cool picture though, but are you sure he's a PSO artist?

(If he is the/a PSO artist, maybe he did some of the Episode 3 cards artwork too?)

It isn't the same person as the official PSO artist. His name is Mizuno Akikazu and quite definitely a he. The artist of this book: Ugetsu Hakua actually sounds like a female's handle.

I think there might have been a couple, or more, artists envolved with the design and art aspects of PSO during its long life of re-vamps. UGETSU HAKUA might have just been assigned a commision to do some official art bits for PSO. Either way, thats some pretty stuff, and a rockin PSO pic.

At the end of "The Book of Hunters" there were a bunch of official designers listed, Hakua was not among any of them.

I looked up the guy tho, seems like he is some sort of Doujin illustrator turned pro, and he is credited as character designer of an anime "Bakuretsu Tenshi". http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif
