if megid was a homing spell would that be cheating since hildetorr's could kill you instantly and so could ob/mil lilys i think it would be cheating...oh and i noticed about hildelts that there zonde spell never misses,oh and why are the lightning based monsters but still weak to lightning,oh and lets not forget the gran sorcerers megid spell

You can avoid megid and zonde but the closer you are the harder it is to avoid it.

These spells are fast so it is harder to read the shots coming at you.

Just run to the other side of the 'delts to avoid the Zonde. They still have to aim AT you so if you're not there....

Thats true if you don't move before the shot comes out.

True, but the technique has to hit you in order to damage you. If I side step Megid, it's clearly missed me. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

@_@ Run on sentence.

I agree it would be cheating if Megid was homing, good thing ST didnt make it that way though. Spells never miss, but if you move out of the way just before the enemies cast it, then it's pretty easy to dodge.

Spells can miss, just ask that guy who has a drunk/crosseyed FOmar who can't use Barta.

Megid doesn't "MISS", it just doesn't work. There's a difference.

Even if Megid fails to work it still EXP tags, therefore it hits.

even nicer than megid for EXP tagging is using jellen/zalure. they still tag, and they don't cost as much *jumps at the thought of the huge bonus of weakening techs*

Indeed.

I wasn't advocating Megid as a form of EXP tagging, mind, just pointing out that it does EXP tag as proof of it hitting http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

This is an interresting topic, Megid never "misses" ?? I think this was meant as "It never misses assuming it hits your character" obviously the more dark resistance you have the less likely it will kill you everytime.I think that the Ul gibbons are cheaters because on EP2 they can hit you from behind a wall without destroyin the wall.

So can you o_O

Rabarta, Razonde and Gifoie can hit monsters even if you exit the room (fixed for Ep4).
And in GDV, some of the walls are inside rooms, so your own Gizonde can go through as well.

The reason you're not avoiding Delta's Zonde is because you're not running left or right. THeir ZOnde shoots in a (somewhat) straight line.

Never met Torr, so I dunno about Megid.

If Megid homed, it would be mandatory for you to have 100 EDK.

Start looking for those 4 Resist/Devs and a Light Relief..http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

It's just easier to tag 'torrs with Jellen and go up and say hi. Oh, they might knock you on your ass but that's better than a one hit kill.
