But yeah, of course people have played it here. I played it for a while and then got kinda tired of it, and I wasn't even that far into it. Supposed to be a great game overall though.

I love this game. I beat it like 5 times and still I have stuff to do. I did almost every side quest but most of them i have to start from the beginning to do because i forget about them.

the game can get boring qucikly if you don't have friends. The battles become repetive over time, as it begins to take longer and longer to get anything new. The main character is the only one with a variety of combo hits, the others only have one three hit combo. Each characters specials however are rather nice, and graphically pretty. The game has some of the best voice acting around, but their faces don't reflect emotions when they are in 3D (which is most of the time) and their mouths don't move >_<. The story line is very long and has many plot twists.

I actually like the level up system, it uses jobs based on each characters personality, and you can usually lean to either an attack or support type with just about any character. Also, some jobs can be unlocked merely by finishing a battle in a certain way or by teaming up the right characters.

The dungeons are so-so in puzzle solving ability, though they almost seem to blend together after awhile, with a few new things every other dungeon or so. You'll be running back and forth to the between the same places for a long time, but don't let that discourage you, it will get better. The game would make a great rental if it weren't so long, if you can find it for $20 though I would say go ahead and get. This game would have been great if only they had put more work into character combos and facial expressions. Oh well, at least a decent RPG actually EXISTS for the gamecube *sigh*

I played through this on GC without unlocking everything. TOS is OK; decent characters, story, music & graphic. I don't mind going back to unlock some extras for fun, but just not now. ;]

I'm playing through this game. It's pretty fun. The overworld music is pure torture, but otherwise the soundtrack is nice. The gameplay is pretty solid, and the graphics are pretty.

I Played it, i beat it not the 100% but almost, i like the story and the side quest of the dark weapons, i had a good time with that game

I have played it, but I perfer the sequel, Tales of Legendia for the ps2, more enjoyable.

Awesome game. I beat it like 5 or 6 times, spending points on crazy stuff. Make sure you get Genus' Meteor Strike (is that correct) spell (it's a secret spell), he will learn it... oh wait I dont want to spoil the plot and I can't even promise that I remember exactly what to do.

I beat it twice, both times with Kratos at the end. Because Kratos is cool, and I hate Zelos' guts.

If you only beat it twice, then you don't have the best weapons. The Cursed Weapons gain in strength with each enemy it kills, and it is carried over each time you beat it.

Of couse you will only notice this on Loydd, Kratos, Zelos (yes he does suck)and Persea since they are the ones doing the killing with thier weapons.

There was a cool unison attack with Presea and Collette, but it depended on wether you were T type or S Type, and what the playtime on each was. I think I found it on my third game.

Prism Stars was awesome, it had like what 75 hits? Anywho, has anyone beaten the solo colosium with Genius all the way through? OMG that was tough, and I never made it all the way through but tried a lot.

Man, now I'm gonna have to get another CG and ToS again http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif lol. IMHO it was the best RPG for the GC (worlds better that Wind Waker).

I have it and I beat it but I haven't did everything there is to be done.(you can say I rushed)

It was fun but only if you have siblings or friends. Other than that it was tooo cliched for me and a bit to cheesy. And the story was not really confusing, but everywhere. Its an ok game.

I've beaten it like 4 times, gotten most of the stuff I care about (like 10X exp) The story isnt that great and the characters are sort of cliche and corny (swordsman, female childhood friend, villlage burns down, ultimately world saving quest ensues) but the battle system (even alone) and the music are both ill. I also got to about level 110 and climbing with all my characters in a 2X exp game, an d most of the extra costumes, all of which are nasty

EDIT: Graphics=t3h awesome, but the non anime and cg cutscenes have too many recycled animations and bad particle effects

Yes, That's Kratos' special attack. It's called "Shining Wind". Both Zelos and Kratos can use it. Sorry, It can only be used in the japanese verion.

Are you sure you can only use it in the japanese version and what exactly do you have to do to activate Raine's, Kratos's/Zelos's, Sheena's, Regal's, and Presea's?

Bah, I don't think the fighting system in ToS was very good as a whole. Not very fun by yourself, and annoying for 2, 3 and 4P because the camera was only on the first player. Not to mention 1 person would probably be best playing the role of the healer. That is not a fun role in ToS, unless you're playing Zelos/Kratos, since they're fighting and healing, so it's all good.

I don't know what some of you are talking about. Zelos is the best character in the game! o: Actually, I like Kratos too, just Zelos more.

The final boss wasn't hard enough, either. The secret bosses were harder, but not too bad. I think I had the most trouble with the 3 fairies oO

I think the battle system was on the right idea, but it just ddin't work.

You are right about the final battle with Mithos. It was way easier than I expected. To me the hardest battle was with guy who was collecting all the Cursed weapons (I can't remember his name, but he was a hidden boss and you hade to go back to where you fought Shadow in order to fight him). Was his name Abyssion?? Oh well...

Mine was the third battle with the sword dancer.......999,999hp is way too much but i beat him pretty bad with the nebilim sword after you unlock its power when you beat abyssion......120,000hp wich wasn't too bad.
