On May the 4th at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be:

01:02:03 04/05/06.

That won't ever happen again in your lifetime.

Though that isn't the usual American date order... The American one already happened. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

But yeah, for places that put the day first...

3:02:01 05/04/06 is cooler anyway. The first second of the second minute of the third hour of the fourth day of the fifth month of the sixth year. XD Though it would have been cooler back in 606, then it could have been the first second of the second minute of the third hour of the fourth day of the fifth month of the sixth year of the seventh century.

Clearly I'll just have to wait for 3:02:01 05/04/7606. Then it'll be the first second of the second minute of the third hour of the fourth day of the fifth month of the sixth year of the seventh century of the eighth millenium... Only problem is figuring out how to live another 5600 years...

I remember hearing about this on a radio morning talk show.

The guy reporting it, in the "half assed news" bit got a lilttle down that this was the only time it was ever gonna happen, now there's nothing left to live for! It won't happen again!

Pretty funny I guess, might just be because it was morning though! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Actually, that date and time already happened. 04/05/06 was APRIL, not May.

Depends on if you live in the UK or not. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

So, in a way it will happen/happened twice, depending on your date format! You can pretend that you know what the other format is like, and enjoy it all over again!

100 times actually. Twice per time zone if you want to go crazy about it. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif This includes all of the half-hour time zones as well as the time zones that do not reserve daylight savings time.

The sixty-second anniversary of Operation Overlord and the release of the AM2 socket processors by AMD. At least, those are the only two important things happening that day that interest me.

I'm sure there are lots of interesting dates/times combos to think up. I just hadn't considered the idea of using the time along with the date before to that effect. Thanks for the added information and interest, everyone. =) This has been a more fun topic than I thought it would be, in my opinion!

If you feel the need to relive such moments, simply screw with your computer's date and time settings and then it's like 1999 all over again.

edit: on a sidenote this is my first post back after like an almost two month hiatus.

If you take a number and subtract it's reversed number, the result is always devisable by 9.

743-347= 396/9= 44

Wow, I've been trying that, and it's been pretty neat.

76425-52467=23958/9 = 2662

Neato. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Numbers are wierd

9 + 3 = 12 > 7+4=11
9 x 3 = 27 < 7 x 4 = 28

wth?

22-22=0

353-353=0

It only works when the digits are different.

0 looks divisible by 9 to me. 0/9 = 0. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_confused.gif
