View Full Version : Hacking Good or Bad?

I was thinking about hacking to get a Dark Flow. I know they kind of suck but I really want one so badly. Should I hack or should I just live with not having one?

Just trade somebody for one if you're online. That way you save yourself the trouble of actually making one (which seems to me like it would be kind of a lot of work), because trust me, you're not going to be impressed with the Dark Flow. XD

I know that I am not going to be impressed by it. I just think that it looks cool and I want it badly. And plus I heard that if you even pick up an item that has been hacked than you can no longer find anymore rare items.

Nah, that's not exactly true. There are a lot of stickies around here about that subject, but I'll briefly go over it. Only items that have really bizarre stats completely outside the game's parameters will affect rare drops. Mags over Lv200, for example. You have nothing to worry about from owning a hacked Dark Flow with reasonable percents (or no percernts at all).

[/quote]OK whew. Now all I need to get is somthing to trade for an Olga Flow and I also need to find someone that has one. Will that be very hard to do?

CupOfCoffee

Well... probably not. I'm not sure of the GC version's current population, but I'd assume that it wouldn't be TOO difficult to track someone down who has one they want to trade. Try Vega.

Soul Eater, Akiko's Frying Pan, Star Amplifier, or Photon Drops. And Vega is the first and most populated-by-cheaters Ship on the GC server list.

indeed. Once there, you can easily find someone with a Dark Flow (although it's actually pretty easy to make one yourself.)

Theres still people there but on certain times.

Just ask around for one. Dupe users/cheaters/etc. aren't usually greedy when it comes to items.
(saying: just ask, people will give to you for free)

Making one is incredibly easy and fast like others said too. Well, with a device anyway-the other methods may be semi-slow.

So Im supposed to sit and be a hobo? Thats exactly what it sounds like.

Fine. Go ahead and hack. Just 1) keep it to yourself and 2) stop asking for other people's opinion when you won't listen to them.

Corey
Apr 28, 2006, 06:09 PM
Er no, I don't understand how that's being a "hobo."

It's like asking for the time, with how common that is.

But hey, if you don't want, don't ask for opinions then. Derr...

Well I have something to say. It will take me a little while longer to get to play online.

If it's over level 200, simply bank it or drop it, and recreate game/save and quit/

as long as you do not unbank it rares will drop again

You would have to be a complete idiot to used a Dark Flow... or atleast a 0/0/0/0, +0 one with the normal special.

However, depending on how you hack it, I think you could get:

254/0/0/0/127,
0/254/0/0/127,
0/0/254/0/127 and,
0/0/0/254/127

Those may actually be decent. Especially if you hack the special to something like Charge. Plus, with certain AR codes, you can grind any weapon up to +255.

If you are going to hack, atleast do it right. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

The only people that actually hack to do something are the ones who can't beat the game by themselves, so they need a little help from the hacking gods.

There are also those who have beaten the game twenty times over, and have collected EVERYTHING (not me), and they still love the game, so they hack to make it more interesting.

the only hacking I really do is duping items, but its mostly either addslots are slot units. I also duped stuff from my brother who recieved weapons that were given to him like tjsword, double cannon, guld milla, heaven punisher, and such. I also dupe photon drops/spheres

Hacking weapons won't stop rares from dropping, nor will having them in your inventory. For the 999,999,999 billionth time, weapon %'s do NOT affect rare drops http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Well sorry, just I read somewhere that anything out of the game perimeters would stop rares from dropping, so sorry, I thought that it included item percentages above 100% along with mags above 200 and more than ten items with you (stacking) so sorry.

I saw a dark flow and thought it was a fairly cool weapon. I was impressed by its special. Would someone breifly explain why it is considered to be a bad sword? (reasons other than "because none of them are legit.)

Please don't bump topics over a month old. The OP probably doesn't even remember they exist at this point. There are a very few exceptions to this rule, but we'd much appreciate it if you didn't do so. Thanks!
