Best offline force?

So I've been playing offline for a while (too cheap to spring for online http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif), and I was wanting to try a force. I was always under the impression that fonewm was the best nuker, which I would like to do. From what I've seen, though, is that the Fomar is also a good choice... and also has the option of meleeing. Should I go for a fonewm, or fomar for offline single player?

A little side note, do I need a mind mag on at all times for a force... or do I need it only for "learning" higher level techs?

well it depends if you're a nuke force go with FOnewm but Im pretty sure offline all forces are efficient for soloing. and unless you're meleeing of course you need a mindmag at all times. would you use a HUmar without a power mag?

Well, I've heard that MST does not affect tech damage as much as say ATP affects physical damage. Is this true?

Not sure on that one. But, if you plan to use techs almost all of the time, go with a FOnewm, the have a 30% bonus to all Gi- and Ra- techs. If you want to be a melee Force, such as a FOmar, I would mix melee in with techs, and use a Double Saber.

FOmar would be a good choice. The option to melee comes in handy a lot of the time.

FOnewmn. Offline tech weakness makes them deadly. At level 90 cleared Ult. Mines without even watching what I was doing. I think I ate dinner and just pushed gifoie button, and cleared out most of the rooms this way.

Gi-tech bonus + Magical Piece = deadly offline. Of course if only able to play offline, disregard the Magical Piece part http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/blush.gif. Still the best choice.

Only draw back to this, you may get bored of character real quick.

If you don't like seeing red, chose FOnewearl. The have the best defvence and evasion of the forces. They have great Basic tech abilities.

HUmar all the way Power for mag!! that what i did and i own...besides how do you expect to use good weapons with HUmar with low power.
