Are you a pirater of music/movies/games?

I have downloaded SNES Roms off the internet but no music or movies. I'm probably the lowly pirate the washes the "poop deck."
And you all? Do you pirate/steal/download music, movies, or games off the internet?

I have yet to download a song yet am contemplating doing it to have more fun with my PC and listen to things while I web surf or otherwise.
Also its the cool thing to do nowadays even if its "stealing":

Omfg... you are the first person I've ever heard of whose stuttered when they say 'steal' music. Bah, even my grandparents are pirates lol. For this post I used my trusty ol TI-89 to see the grand total of my pirated software I have and it came to a grand total of 36,000$. Sure it sucks to be a company loosing money because of this but fuck if I'm gonna open my bank up...

I download episodes of Fansubs to see what I want to buy when it gets released stateside.

I had downloaded 5 episodes of Gasaraki last month, and I ordered the boxset today with rush delivery, same thing I did for Love Hina.

Aye, ye wee buttery shads. I pirate anime because I think it's unethical to charge $25 for 3 or 4 episodes that the Japanese got to see on TV for free. Actually, that's a lie. I've bought lots of anime DVDs. But I download fansubs, which technically makes me a pirate. Yarr!

Arr. Download NES & Genesis Roms. I only go after mp3s when there is only one song out of a whole CD that I like. HHmmmm spend $12 on a CD for a single song. Nope don't think so, don't have the extra money. The only other mp3s I download is videogame music. I'm still looking for Baulders Gate: DA music somewhere.

Yes, of course. Im not into getting roms, games or movies. But I don't really buy computer software, I just can't afford it. Music I get the occasional song once, mostly to sample new music, I can't really be bothered to download whole CDs (I have a couple).

I work in the game industry......so I don't pirate software myself. I've been given rips of unusual games from others in the industry.

I can see why a person would copy a game that isn't available in their home country...or anime as well. If it's for their own personal use I can look the other way. The ones that get me are these pricks that burn domestic releases because they can't afford their gaming habits.

Can't afford software for your system? Find another pastime besides gaming.

What bugs me are the anime whores. If you pirate anime that's your own business, and I'm not going to judge. But when people ask me Where can I download Anime for free I tend to go off the wall. I worked a min. wage job to buy my dvds, and so everyone else who's not smart enough to find it on their own.

I got a couple Adobe things on my computer, as well as a few ROMs, videos, and MP3's. But I usually will not download something (with exception of Photoshop, Illustrator, and MP3's) if they are no longer availible or translated ROM's. I will download MP3's if I only like one song done by a band and nothing else. Adobe...yeah, I $600 on them so that way I will not have to worry about if the computer lad is open or not.
