Chat - Please Help!

It's been awhile since I've played PSO online (or offline http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif). I can't seem to chat...am i doing something wrong (i cant seem to type simple mail either...i type but nothing shows up)....thanks!

Well, chatting means you have your keyboard ready, yes? Looks like you have used it before too.
Make sure the connector &/or adaptor is clean & undamaged, & plugged in correctly. You don't know how much a little physical maintenance can do.

Well, I've figured out that PSO chat (both live and simple mail) pretend like my keyboard doesn't exist...I can't type on either, but elsewhere in the game it works fine (I'm on a laptop). I've emailed sega, but seeing as how previousy I've been informed "We did not make Phantasy Star Online for the PC; it was a Gamecube game." I don't expect much.

It is not emulated, it is the actual Windows version of the game.

Any help is appreciated!

UPDATE: It doesn't work with anything other than the game controls. It doesn't work with ANYTHING where u type and what u type appears on the screen once in the game.

Well, by you original post I was under the impression that you were using a keyboard for GC online.

It is not emulated, it is the actual Windows version of the game.
But this looks like you are playing the PC version, PSOBB.

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with BB's settings. Hopefully some BB user can help ya on this.
