So, has anyone watched this movie here at all. It seems really good. It's kinda weird talikng about it. I still remember September 11th really clearly and what I was doing on that day. It seems like the whole country lost its sense of security that day. Well, so if anyone watched please tell me if it really portrays that day well. Actually, in truth though I'm sure it'll be good and after the movie I'll be crying.

Not too interesting in seeing the movie.
Its still a bit too early for me.
But, I'll spoil it for anyone who wants to see it.
EVERYONE DIES AT THE END.

God no! It can't be true!

Seriously though, I really have no desire to see this. I think it's far too early to be releasing a film based on events that were so recent (in history terms). I have enough of my own reminders of September 11th without needing someone else's.

Heh, that is somewhat expected. As everyone knows, there wasn't any survivor to retell the event.

Man I can see hollywood screwing this up already.
They're gunna make all the characters great upstanding Americans, we NO flaws what so ever, or little tiny insignificant ones.
I wonder though, what middle-esterner would WANT to play a role that antagonizes thier ethnicity?

Bleh, I watched one of these movies a while back, it was on lifetime or something, it was interesting to say the least. But yeah I agree with everyone, i ts early for such a tragic event to be portreyed yet. 9/11 was a horrid day for me, I witnessed it from my window, I have a perfect view from my balcony. D:

Watch the link above, it takes a completely different view on things and makes a heck of a whole lot more sense than what the major media outlets are telling us. Make sure you've got the time to watch the whole thing through though, since its about 1h20m.

Not only is it too soon, but to me it looks like they tried to make the mvoie look like a thriller and exciting, and to me what the movie is about, should NOT be "entertaining" in my opinion.

Actually, I heard the complete opposite of the movie.... I want to see it.
They chose a no-name cast with little to no experience for filming; many of the people in the control towers and in various locales in the U.S. actually star in the movie. Yup, you heard it: they used people who were actually like OMG WTF on September 11 to portray themselves in the film.

Also, from what else I've heard is that the last 1/3 of the movie or so is actually on the airplane. Since the families themselves supported and chipped into the film, they were able recreate what they feel as an accurate portrayal of what was going on; Also, the families got a more in-depth, clearer and longer version of the blackboxes and other vocal recordings then the public. This alone could have helped them stitched together the pieces to make this movie.

I use reviews for movies to get information on a movie before I see it; I don't use it as an actual say in whether or not I go (If I want to see a movie, I'm going to watch it dammit.) But considering at http://www.rottentomatoes.com, the movie is averaging a 91/100 rating out of 136 reviews, the movie is probably damn good.
