I am satiated to use my Gladius, am playing in the Hard currently in the Forest, my weapon is not giving a good damage and am wanting to change it for some thing that I find in the Hard. I found a Dragon Slayer Sword but I cannot usa because I am in level 28 T.T
I'do like to know if some type of tatic to catch good weapons in the Hard-Forest in level 28.

If i were you id try to get an enemy part of some kind. (Grass assassin's arms come to mind due to the +400-410 atp when fully ground at +25) Id try to get to the caves in Hard unless you want to try for the harder drop rate of them in normal.

Get a Soul Eater! (and maybe a Akkiko's Frying Pan)

And if you are online:
- solo the first two rooms of EN4 at your highest difficulty. The Claws drop "good" weapons.
- do PW quests in Normal for Lucky Coins, and hope for weapons from Gallon's Shop. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

My Fomarl was doing it in Hard online at lv26. o.o The first two rooms are only Claws and some boxes, then there is a two person door (and you restart).

Get the Soul Eater and Akiko's Frying Pan from the quests in Normal mode if you are to low of a level to do them on Hard.

Soul eater sucks at later levels IMO... and a +9 grinder max isnt that great at all. But it is a decent early rare scythe and a good special to boot, id give it to a force if decide to get it. The frying pan is a good choice though considering it has a higher atp bonus than SE, the only downside is that it is generally worthless at later levels.

I suggest you use a cutter if you can't get a useable special weapon

Use the quest rares guide by LordKarasuman

What class are you? You could find some good weapons for each class in Hard mode, but I suggest leveling up and getting to higher difficulties as fast as possible.

Soul Eater does not suck at later levels >_> Let us remember it's stronger than a Gungnir, usable by all characters, has a low ATP requirement, and it's special is Berserk http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif if you're smart, you can utilize the berserk properly without dying... But later it might be wise to search for a Charge/Berserk Gungnir w/hit% .... but I just think Soul Eater looks too good to give up to Gungnir >_>

Wouldn't worry to much with the Frying Pan... I mean... it is a Katana afterall >_> http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_barf.gif
The weapon strength and accuracy is important... but not only that, but the TYPE of weapons you need with you. A multi-strike melee, a single-strike range, a single-strike melee, etc...
You should have some type of partisan/sword, a good single-target melee weapon (like a twin saber/sword or good daggers), a slicer is decent at times, a handgun for range, a mechgun for nice ranged damage, and.... well for a HUmar that's all really.

Weapons for the situation are crucial. You have to have an Armory http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif
so i'd look for a decent mechgun with hit (store's a good place) http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_ak.gif
a decent handgun for range http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_quickdraw.gif
and ah... definately more melee weapons http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/twak.gif
>_>

Just use the non rares, for now.

I cant think of any good rares you can find at that difficulty off the top of my head, but you might want to check the guides.

Get a gun.... no matter how weak it is, as long as it's accurate, you can hold enemies off with the hard attack and finish them when they get closer. Techniques work nice too.....

Funny... My friend got it his first time fighting Dark Falz on Normal Multiplayer. (Could have been Hard)

Gun yes, .... Techniques? >_> .... He's a HUmar >_< Rabarta at best, other than that... his TP is used for low resta. And Musashi is from Dragon on hard. Dark Falz drops absolutely nothing.

HUmars still have techniques. They are weak but they they don't "miss" unless the actual attack misses. A melee weapon and a gun can miss even though the attack went straight through them.

Yo the soul eater does not suck. It has a good special a good attack range and it looks pretty freakin awsome so what do you say to that Nomahend?
