Lagging

Im lagging so badly
I lost a lot of rare weapons because of lagging in the loading screens

How do I fix it?

What version of the game? GC, XboX, PC, DC?
What type of internet connection do you have? Dialup, DSL, Cable, T connection?
If broadband, do you use a router? If so what brand and model?
Are you talking about offline as the game loads?

A little more info would be helpful.

well, if its offline, then it has nothing to do with your internet connection, it means your disc is scrathed up, mine is too, a little, it makes the music just repeat itself, not the whole song, like one second, so i hear the same thing over and over and over again, then i just mute it, back on track , you should either
1) take it to ur local game store and get it fixed, or
2)if you have a disc scratch fixer, you that

Oh and it lags on the loading screen even offline and I lose stuff
That ticked me off when I lost my J-Sword+50

Please use the edit button instead of using multiple posts. You may also be able to delete posts under the edit option (useful for duplicate posting).

Try the game in someone else's XBox. It may be the game itself. I would do this both before and after the cleaning.

Im getting a new Xbox
But I found out why my xbox was lagging on offline

I needed to unhook my ethernet cable from my router so it isnt connected to the pc when somebody is on

and i think i know im lagging on online
I needed my pc turned off
