Oh how I hate throwing up. Worst feeling in the entire world. Accredited to a track meet in 45 degree weather and rain, little sleep after prom, and late nights with papers galore. At least I got out of working at the cafe, but I'd rather work every day than be sick.

While being sick is a bitch, I have always found hurling to be a somewhat fun "activity" mainly because of how it feels right after. You feel like any kind of sickness you had has just gone away.

Hah, until the feeling slaps you right back in the face about fifteen minutes later. Thankfully enough, this was a one and done-r and I finally felt better by this afternoon.

Whilest I'd hardly call it a walk in the park, I'd say as I've grown older, throwing up barely bothers me as much as it did.
I guess it really depends on what you've had to eat! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif
"OH NOES!!1111! Why did I have to eat both my dinner and have seconds!!?"

It's become part of everyday life. An over-active social life (when I had one -_-;) will help with that I guess? You just become numb too it after a while.

The nausea though, thats the killer. The act of vomiting itself I can deal with, just not the build up. It just knocks you for sick as you feel it growing stronger. Bleurgh. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_dead.gif

I only tend to get sick after too much fizzy drinks (which I drink a ton of).

I tend to get crippling stomachache with it though, which isn't fun at all.

One of the most annoying feelings is being sick when you're hungry, you want to eat more but your mouth feels disgusting.

The only thing worse is projectile vomit *shudder*

Agreed. What's worse I think is having the pain and NOT throwing up.

Nah dudes, the worst part is WHILE you are throwing up, when you just start heaving and nothing comes out. That and the fact that you prolly have some of it in your mouth, and it is so nasty...
...and also that time period of 3 - 10 seconds between each heaving when you KNOW that you're gonna start up again any second, and that you cant stop it, oh god why can't I STOP THRO-HUUUUAAAAA.

:3 But yes, feeling better afterwards makes it at least worthwhile.

I can handle any type of sickness in any area of my body except my stomach. I hate being nauseated and throwing up. I hate the wait and the fear of throwing up on the carpet or any place else but the toilet.

Luckily, i haven't been nauseated in a long time(but its gonna happen one day). I think the last time I vomitted was when I ate the seeds of a cranberry and after a few minutes....the toilet was my best friend.

It's been ages since I threw up. I'm long overdue, I guess. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

It's that buildup thats the worst. Nothing there, nothing there, still dry-heaving and then, wooa momma, there it goes. Repeat three or four times. ick.

I dislike when places where it would be 'alright' to throw up are in use. Like, BOTH bathroom toilets. The kitchen sink. Then you have to hold it in until someone moves. The acid burns your mouth DX

I was nauseated everyday during the end of February - middle of May. I had major anxiety problems.

It got to a point where I couldn't do anything without feeling the pit in my stomache.

when we started I ran as fast as I can half my stomach started
killing me i was still in first place I here the crowd go gasp or somthing
like that and then I saw a guy 2x taller than me and then I heard
"I'V GOT THE POWER!!!!" I ignored the pain for my eadr life and crowd just cheered after I got my ribbon I collasped not from being tierd
but of my stomach and the next it kinda hurt still

Last time I threw up was when I was .. 4 years old? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
I have no idea how it feels, but I can imagine it.

My mom told me that I always kept it inside me, and swallowed it back in XDD
Maybe that's the reason I don't throw up anymore >_>

Heh, I went a long time without throwing up. Until a few weeks back, when I went to the ermengency room. Twice in parking lot, twice in bed pan, once in toliet after producing a urine sample(I was like, 20 meters away from my room! It's hard to walk that far with a damn IV!). And I gotta say, it really did help, but before I threw up, I had the feeling to do it, and didn't. THAT really sucks >_>;

But when I did, I felt a little better, except some went up my nose the first time, that burns D:

Getting sick really sucks. . . the only good thing about throwing up is that after a couple of days you lost some weight and you could eat whatever you want without gaining more weight than you had before lol. ^ ^

The after taste is the worst part.

Water is the cure.

Feel like throwing up? Drink some water and your stomach will just calm down (unless you ate too much, then water makes it worse)

Aftertaste? Drink water to rinse it off

Water also helps you hold it in until it subsides.

I absolutely hate throwing up, but, I totally agree with you; the nausea's the worst. >.< It's like, let's just get it over with, and let me throw up, already. I also hate that really watery spit that builds up when you're feeling sick. Uggh, gross.
