how do you know what version of pso you have

well. . . . . . . the title says it all i recently have been told by various people (and from reading some of the forums) that it is pretty important to know version of pso you have so how do you tell and ive lost the instuction manual so if thats got anything to do with it then im stuffed

Look underneath your disc, next to the center. There is a small ring of letters that tells what version it is.

Which group of numbers should you look at? Are they the numbers before "USA"? Would that make "01" version 1?
