Sealed J-sword

Just 2 questions about the sword. 1)Do you really unseal it by killing 23000 monsters and if so 2)Do they kills have to be in a row, or can you equip other items and not loose the count

hi there and welcome to psow. make sure to have a look at the rules.
there are also a lot of info to be found in our guide section and in various sticky topics (those at the upper side).

anyway:
1) yeah, if its not a hacked sealed-j, it will unseal after you killed 23000 enemies with it
2) nope, you can unequip it, save and quit, put it in the bank etc. the only thing that matters is that you give an enemy the final blow with the sword, which goes to a counter set within the weapon's data.

if you kill 22999 enemys with it then trade it to a friend and they kill 1 enemy with it will it unseal for them?

Possibly. The kill counter saves to the sword, but it isn't evident until it is equiped.
